🌊 As part of our continuing celebration of Camp Emerald Bay’s 100th anniversary, we’re encouraging former and current Scouts, Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, parents, and anyone else who has fond memories of our unique island camp to share their stories through LinkedIn.
Camp Emerald Bay, located on Catalina Island, is truly one-of-a-kind. Many Scouts and parents have described it as magical. The camp, reachable only by ferry, offers unique environmental education opportunities and ocean-based skills training. For years, Scouts have learned how to SCUBA dive, ocean kayak over long distances, swim, and lifeguard on its beautiful beaches.
We encourage you all to share #MyCampEmeraldBay stories of growth, friendship, leadership, and life-changing experiences. We hope the camp will continue to serve our youth for another 100 years, providing opportunities for them to learn leadership and outdoor skills.
